The girl that included word for word sentences from your blog obviously did not go to college because they would have beat the definition of plagerism into her head. You should write the magazine and get a settlement. Maybe even a job, since yours was so much better.

I find myself uncertain which crime is the more vile; the plagiarism or the horrid editing that was done to hide it.

As a part-time editor, I experienced several instances where writers submit plagiarized material. That the editorial staff of Tight allowed this to be printed is a demonstration of their malfeasance and ineptitude.

If you can, spank them where it counts.

I agree with MonMouth – condolences of having something very well written turn into garbage.

It’s uncouth and nasty. You could just write the magazine a nasty letter – it’s easier than bringing a lawyer into it. Good luck!
