I’ve been noticing younger men lately. Mid-twentysomethings, about five or six years younger than I am. This is pretty unusual for me.
Younger men feel taboo. In my other life – the life I avoid discussing here – I occasionally hold a position of authority over younger men (and women), so I think of them all as off limits. They’ve come into my office and paced outside my door and said things that would’ve gotten us both in trouble if I’d responded with anything but cool, diplomatic distance. I’ve developed the habit of pausing before giving a response to a question or request, and I’ve learned to cross my legs and look out the window when I need to buy time to find the right words. I’m a model of restraint.
But I’m noticing them now, these younger men, in spite of my ethical twitch. I seem to dwell on the shy and the precocious, and when someone like this catches my eye, I want to explore him with excruciating slowness.
I don’t know why it’s the shy ones. Maybe they make me feel predatory.
So, I have one in mind. And I’ve been thinking about stripping him down to expose that pale skin.

Several reasons why it’s good for the world for you to be a predator:
- Other smart and attractive women like yourself may be inspired to do the same by reading about it.
- I guarantee it would be a positive experience for your “prey”.
- I’ll get to read about it and live vicariously though him in your blog:)
- Do it to support our troops.
Ok I know that last one doesn’t make sense but it works on some people.
Please oh please oh please!
Men do this sort of thing all the time and we don’t call label them predatory. Why the double standard for women?
While it’s generally true that younger men lack the emotional maturity of their female counterparts, there are always exceptions to the rule, and I find this is exceptionally so when it comes to French men. They’re just…better all around.
Go for it, and tell us all about it when you have. At the very least, you might get some cool bespoke suits out of it.
